How the current service handles accounts, records and cookies · October 10, 2026

Accounts and information collected

Email sign-in processes an email address and internal account identifier. Google sign-in processes a Google identifier, verified email and available name. Public profiles use a nickname and public identifier; email and the Google-provided name are not shown in the public profile. Age range and gender are optional, stored privately with consent, and are not required to use the service.

Activity and purposes

Account information supports sign-in, account identification and administrator permissions. Posts, comments, ratings, viewing status, icebergs, placement votes, reports, blocks and moderation records support community features. Anonymous visits may receive a random identifier. Email request throttling uses secret-key-based hashes derived from IP addresses and email. Hosting and mail providers may process IP addresses and other technical information needed to deliver their services.

Retention and deletion requests

A login session is valid for seven days and the current session is deleted on sign-out. Email challenges are valid for ten minutes. Expired authentication and throttle records are cleaned during later requests, so validity and physical deletion time can differ. Accounts and community records are retained while maintaining the account and service. Access and deletion requests are handled through contact and identity verification; automatic account deletion is not currently available. Any retention needed for report handling is explained during the request.

Optional information and your choices

Selecting no response and saving the account form clears optional age and gender values. You can edit nicknames and your own posts using the available controls. Contact the administrator for further access, correction, deletion or processing requests. Do not send authentication codes or passwords. Content others have copied outside the service cannot necessarily be recalled.

Cookies and browser storage

Session cookies last up to seven days, authentication-flow cookies up to ten minutes, and visitor and language cookies up to one year. Entry acceptance uses session storage; remembering the choice uses an expiry timestamp in local storage for thirty days. Clearing browser cookies and storage can sign you out or reset settings. Optional profile information is stored with the server account, not just in the browser.

External services and transfers

Cloudflare supplies hosting and the database, Resend delivers authentication email, and Google provides optional Google sign-in. Recipient email and message contents are sent to Resend. Selecting Google sign-in uses Google’s authentication pages. Film information search uses Wikidata; external poster images may cause browser requests to their providers. These providers operate internationally, and processing locations depend on configuration and their operations. Provider policies and a contact route are linked below.

Advertising and current status

AdSense delivery remains off until the administrator configures a real publisher ID and ad unit and enables it. Once enabled, Google and third-party vendors may use cookies to serve ads based on previous visits. You can manage personalized advertising through Google Ad Settings and restrict third-party cookies in the browser. The prepared integration is restricted to editorial guides for visitors in Korea. Other regions receive no ads until the required consent system is in place. Entry acceptance is not advertising consent.
